Teaching
” I am the founder of Art Prof, and currently a Partner. De 2007-2020, eu lecionei como Professor Adjunto na Escola de Design de Rhode Island, ensinando em ilustração, Impressão, estudos da Fundação e pintura. Durante 7 anos, dei aulas no RISD Project Open Door, um programa gratuito de acesso universitário para adolescentes urbanos em RI, no departamento de ensino + aprendizagem em Arte + Design e no RISD pré-College. No passado eu ensinei na Escola do Museu de Belas Artes, no Wellesley College, e no Lesley University College of Art and Design.
Publications
I wrote Ask the Art Prof, an advice column for visual artists in the Huffington Post. Eu escrevi artigos para o New York Times, semana de Educação, Revista de artistas, e minha arte foi publicada no British Journal of Psychiatry e na figura: perspectivas contemporâneas. Eu fui o diretor da galeria Jewett por três anos, onde eu curava, organizava e instalava exposições profissionais e estudantis. Viajei para Guangzhou, Pequim, Chengdu, xangai e Vancouver para dar palestras e ensinar oficinas.
Lectures
I have done faculty training and lectures at Brown University, The RISD Museum, Simmons College, The Cape Ann Art Museum, The Fitchburg Art Museum, the National Art Education Association conference, the Attleboro Museum of Art, and more.
Exposições & Collections
Explorar os extremos da emoção humana, eu uso a figura humana como um veículo para a expressão em várias técnicas de desenho, gravura e escultura. A minha obra de arte foi exibida no International Print Center New York, Bromfield Gallery, Danforth Museum of Art, Mark Miller Gallery, Currier Museum of Art, Childs Gallery, and the Davis Museum. As minhas impressões estão na colecção do Hood Museum of Art e da colecção Barbara e David Stahl.
